Our last walk today! We agreed on a walk from the village of Stoke Fleming to Dartmouth.
The small Devon village of Stoke Fleming is located near Dartmouth on the South West Coast Path.
From the village we strolled along the coast path, enjoying beautiful beaches, wooded cliffs and turquiose seas. Due to its splendid clifftop location there are some excellent coastal views to enjoy from the village.
This walk along the coast path takes you to nearby Dartmouth on a 4 mile stretch of the National Trail. We enjoyed fine views over the River Dart estuary.
The beautiful town of Dartmouth situated on the mouth of the River Dart is one of South Devon’s most popular and enchanting towns. With its charming historic streets, scenic river location and surrounded by South Devon countryside it is a wonderful place to spend a few hours. We sat on the front and ate crab sandwiches which were yummy.
Some of the houses were used in the filming of the “Coroner “ starring Claire Goose.
The estuary is stunning with boats moored everywhere. The Royal Naval College is located in Dartmouth. Looking across the water you can see the lovely village of Kingswear.
After our lunch in Dartmouth it was time to return to the lovely village of Stoke Fleming. Another great day with Chris and Pete!!
