Such a wonderful time was spent on this ship cruising from Montreal via Quebec, Saguenay, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax, Hamilton Bermuda, St George Bermuda to New York. The Atlantic crossing from Canada to Bermuda and Bermuda to New York was rather rocky at times causing quite a few people to feel seasick. However despite all that the cruise was so enjoyable. The food in the main restaurant was excellent, and the food outside by the pool on the 10th deck was varied. The breakfasts were good although always the same and in the evening when the Verandah became Sette Mari restaurant (Italian), the menu hardly changed.
Below are some examples of the delicious desserts served. We were also lucky enough to get 2 chances to go to the Prime restaurant where beautiful meat and seafood were served, one of my favourites being “Surf and Turf”.
The shows were very good in my opinion, several including female legendary singers, broadway shows, the music machine and dancing around the world, all put on by our own production cast which included Grace and Molly from down under! Some of the cast were singers and others were dancers. On days at sea, we were able to join dance classes which included swing and hula dancing. Of course the Dancing Queen attended both classes!
We were also lucky enough to make some lovely new friends from different parts of the globe.
Thank you Chris and Mike, and Ruthie and David for sharing lots of fun filled moments on board this cruise. Also I loved playing daily trivia with my companions, Linley and Susie as well as Chris and Mike. We made a great team!!
I’m looking forward to the next cruise whenever that may be.
