Another day in paradise. Today we walked along the coast at East Prawle before visiting an open garden in East Prawle.
East Prawle is a village in the civil parish of Chivelstone, in the South Hams district of Devon, England. It is situated on the coast south east of Salcombe, near the most southerly tip of Devon, Prawle Point. The walk we did is part of the south west coast walk.
After a drink at the famous Pig Nose Inn, a traditional british pub overlooking the village green, we departed East Prawle and headed to Beesands for fish and chips. Beesands is a small settlement located midway between Hallsands and Torcross on the coast of Start Bay in South Devon, England. It is best known as a tourist destination, but is still a fishing village that concentrates mainly on crab and lobster fishing.
After lunch it was time for another walk, this time from Beesands to Hallsands and on to Start Bay where the lighthouse is situated. Again this is a beautiful walk along the coast.
Another lovely day!!
